What Inspired Mintiq
Mintiq was born from a simple observation: expert knowledge is incredibly valuable, but traditional consulting models don't scale. Experts are limited by time, and clients often can't afford the premium rates required for 1-on-1 guidance.
After decades navigating the intersection of intuition and strategy — from founding My Yoga Online to serving as a strategic advisor to high-growth companies — I've learned that the best decisions often come from trusting your instincts, especially when data is incomplete or contradictory.
I asked myself: what if experts could package their knowledge once and serve hundreds of clients with personalized programs? What if AI could help translate deep expertise into actionable, customized guidance? That's Mintiq. A marketplace where experts upload their knowledge, create questionnaires to understand client needs, and deliver personalized programs — all without endless meetings. It's consulting, reimagined for the modern era.
About Jason Jacobson
I've spent my career at the intersection of creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship. In 2004, I co-founded My Yoga Online, one of the world's first subscription streaming platforms. Along the way I launched Fresh Eye Productions, producing more than a thousand hours of original wellness content. My Yoga Online was later acquired by Gaia, where I served as VP of Streaming and helped scale their global platform.
Outside of product building, I've written novels and screenplays; my forthcoming book Strategic Instinct explores how to trust your gut and execute fearlessly in business and life. I also practice stand-up comedy and have spent years in sports — from boxing and hockey to marathons and triathlons.
Most recently I built Lunara — an AI-powered astrology platform that calculates your exact natal birth chart and generates a personalized daily reading every morning. I also founded Innr— a personal clarity platform combining a free assessment, guided reflection, and decision support for anyone navigating "what should I do next?" moments.
